Metaplanet Partners with Three Parties to Launch Joint Research on Bitcoin Digital Credit

According to the official announcement, Metaplanet Inc. (TSE Standard 3350), together with its subsidiary Metaplanet Securities (formerly Siiibo Securities, to be renamed on July 13), stablecoin company JPYC Inc. and security token infrastructure company Progmat, Inc., announced the launch of joint research in the digital credit field, codenamed Project NOVA. The research scope covers digital corporate bonds and other credit instruments, with core directions including: using Bitcoin as credit enhancement collateral assets, utilizing security tokens for rights and holder management, enabling on-chain interest payment and redemption through stablecoins such as JPYC, and exploring the feasibility of 24/7/365 transaction settlement and daily pro-rata interest calculation.
