According to the 2026 Hurun Rich List released by the Hurun Research Institute, 1,529 entrepreneurs with personal wealth reaching RMB 5 billion featured on the list this year, with a combined total wealth of RMB 32 trillion, up 7% year-on-year. ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming tops the ranking with a net worth of RMB 670 billion, an increase of RMB 200 billion from last year, setting a new record for China's richest individual; Nongfu Spring founder Zhong Shanshan ranks second with RMB 410 billion. DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng makes his debut on the list at seventh place with RMB 280 billion, while Cambricon founder Chen Tianshi enters the top ten with RMB 205 billion.
