According to Bloomberg, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Chief Semiconductor Scientist Liao Heng recently made a rare public appearance, issuing a warning during a four-hour-long live interview that Western chip manufacturing giants, including Nvidia, are facing insurmountable physical limits in their pursuit of greater computing power. Liao Heng also recounted the difficult journey Huawei endured after being sanctioned by the United States five years ago and forced to be cut off from the global chip supply chain, and elaborated on Huawei's independently developed new chip design path—the "Tau Scaling Law," describing it as the core methodology for breaking through traditional process bottlenecks.
