According to South Korean media NATE, the joint technical verification (PoC) on KRW stablecoins conducted by the South Korean credit card industry will conclude at the end of July, with no plans to establish new working groups thereafter. This test focused on verifying the payment capabilities of KRW stablecoins in scenarios such as QR codes and POS terminals, as well as the feasibility of converting regional currency, vouchers, and credit card points into stablecoins.
