Carl Erik Rinsch, director of the film "47 Ronin," was sentenced by the court to 30 months in prison and ordered to repay $11 million for using $11 million in series production funds provided by Netflix for stock options and cryptocurrency speculation. Prosecutors stated that Carl Erik Rinsch first lost millions of dollars in high-risk stock option trading, then invested the remaining funds into Dogecoin trading and profited nearly $27 million, which was subsequently used to purchase luxury goods such as Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and high-priced watches. Previously, the jury had found him guilty of charges including wire fraud and money laundering.
