SoftBank will repay a $25.9 billion OpenAI investment bridge loan on September 15.

According to Bloomberg, SoftBank Group announced it will repay the remaining $25.9 billion balance of a $40 billion bridge loan signed earlier this year on September 15, which was previously used to finance its investment in OpenAI. SoftBank stated that it will subsequently proceed with plans to refinance the transaction with long-term debt.
