Arthur Hayes-backed FLOP Network releases first yellow paper, plans to launch testnet and token airdrop in Q4

Flop Labs CEO Arthur Hayes announced the release of the draft yellow paper for FLOP Network v0.5.0, proposing an AI inference metering and settlement network based on Substrate/FRAME, which employs BABE for block production and AlephBFT for finality. The project's official roadmap indicates that the FLOP testnet is slated to launch in Q4 2026, offering token airdrops through testnet participation, with the mainnet targeted for Q1 2027; however, the yellow paper remains a draft, and several parameters and mechanisms have not yet been finalized.
