Binance SAFU fund's 7,500 BTC was transferred to an unmarked wallet at 5:56 UTC on November 3. The wallet subsequently split the funds into transfers of approximately 150 BTC each, with roughly 50 BTC per transaction, some of which were then consolidated and transferred out again. This batch of BTC had previously been transferred out of Binance's Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) on October 31 to cover losses caused by the hot wallet breach. SAFU currently holds slightly more than 7,500 BTC, worth approximately $572 million, below Binance's $800 million rebalancing threshold.Binance has committed to replenishing SAFU to approximately $1 billion but has not yet announced a timeline for the replenishment. On-chain data does not indicate who owns the receiving address, and Binance has not explained the transfer. (Bitcoin.com News)
