Odaily News: France's Conseil d'État, the country's top administrative court, has rejected an emergency application filed by crypto companies Bull Bitcoin and Paymium, refusing to immediately suspend the enforcement of the French decree implementing the EU's Eighth Directive on Administrative Cooperation (DAC8).The applicants argued that centralized collection of personal and financial data of digital asset users could expose them to risks of data breaches, extortion, and physical safety threats. The court held that the applicants failed to demonstrate the existence of an urgent situation sufficient to justify an emergency suspension.Bull Bitcoin's lawsuit seeking a full annulment of the decree is still pending.
