Apple Raises Mac and iPad Prices to Address Cost Pressures from Storage and Memory Chip Shortages

According to Bloomberg, Apple raised prices for select Mac, iPad, and home devices on Thursday to offset rising costs caused by shortages of memory chips and storage components. The price increase affects the MacBook Neo, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Air, and iPad Pro. Specifically, the starting price of the MacBook Neo increased from $599 to $699, and the starting price of the MacBook Air rose from $1,099 to $1,299.
