Amazon has completed its $35 billion follow-up investment in OpenAI ahead of schedule, bringing the total investment to $50 billion (approximately 338.245 billion RMB), with a current stake of about 5%. Although OpenAI did not meet the two conditions of going public and technical breakthrough, Amazon still chose to fulfill the obligation ahead of schedule, paying the final installment this week. OpenAI's renegotiation of the contract with Microsoft in April was a key prerequisite for Amazon's agreement to invest the full amount.
