Capital Research increases its stake in Metaplanet to approximately 136 million shares, remaining the largest shareholder

Japan-listed Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet announced on July 21 that Capital Research and Management Company, an investment management company under the large U.S. asset management institution Capital Group, increased its shareholding stake from 9.32% to 10.63%. As of July 13, the institution held approximately 136 million ordinary shares, an increase of approximately 17.41 million shares compared to prior holdings, officially crossing the major shareholder threshold and continuing to rank as Metaplanet's largest shareholder.
