SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won Meets Jensen Huang in Taipei; Both Parties Reaffirm Commitment to Deepening HBM Collaboration

According to Yonhap News Agency, Choi Tae-won, Chairman of South Korea’s SK Group, met with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in Taipei on June 1. The two discussed collaboration on AI memory chips, jointly reviewed achievements made by both companies in the field of AI memory chips, and reaffirmed their commitment to jointly driving a new era of AI infrastructure development. SK hynix President Kook Roo-jung and other senior executives from both companies also attended the meeting. Later, Huang attended the “Korea Partner Night” dinner hosted by the Korean side, stating that the most critical elements of the HBM supply chain are performance, quality, reliability, and supply capacity—and that NVIDIA is working closely with SK.
