Bessent: Believes Warsh Can Assume Fed Chair as Scheduled

"He will face a hearing on the 21st of this month. He is an excellent candidate. We know that Republican members of the Senate Finance Committee are in agreement on this," Bessent stated at the White House. "I am very optimistic that Warsh will assume the role of Federal Reserve Chair as scheduled," he said.
