HSBC launches HKD stablecoin RedCoin on PayMe, enabling over 3.3 million users to open wallets for use.

According to Decrypt, HSBC officially launched the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin RedCoin (RCHKD) on its payment app PayMe on Friday. Over the coming days, more than 3.3 million PayMe users will be able to gradually set up compatible wallets to transfer funds to friends using RedCoin or make payments at over 100,000 merchants accepting PayMe.
