X adds a "Trade" option for Cashtags, integrating with multiple brokerage firms and cryptocurrency platforms.
X announced the launch of the "Ticker Tag (Cashtag) Partnership Program" in the United States, with initial partners including Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase. Upon clicking a supported ticker tag, users can view price charts and discussions for the associated asset, and navigate to the partner platforms' apps or websites via a newly added "Trade" option to complete transactions after logging in or creating an account. Transactions are directly processed by the partner brokerages or platforms.
