A whale withdrew $461.5 million in BTC from Coinbase, has held it for nearly two years, and has not sold despite $300 million in unrealized profits.
According to on-chain intelligence platform Arkham (@arkham), a BTC whale withdrew approximately $461.5 million worth of Bitcoin from Coinbase roughly two years ago. During its holding period, the position's unrealized gains peaked at $315 million, and it even recorded an unrealized loss of $100 million during the market low in July, yet never chose to sell. Since August, the whale has transferred $82 million to Kraken and currently still holds $418 million worth of BTC, sitting on an unrealized profit of approximately $40 million.
