PayPal to Shut Down Its Venture Capital Division and Seek Sale of Some Holdings
According to Fortune, PayPal is shutting down its venture capital arm, PayPal Ventures, which was established about 10 years ago. This move is part of the company’s broader restructuring efforts under its new CEO. Sources say the team has shrunk from over 10 members at the end of 2025 to just two people today. PayPal is also exploring selling some of its investments via the secondary market and has engaged Jefferies to assist with potential transactions.
