According to Korean media Ket, South Korea's SK Telecom (SKT) announced the establishment of a new company dedicated to AI Data Centers (AIDC) named "SK Hyper" and plans to invest a cumulative total of 750 billion won to promote large-scale AI data center business expansion. It is expected to initially invest 330 billion won, and plans to cumulatively invest 750 billion won by December 2030, ultimately holding 100% equity in the company. Reportedly, the newly established SK Hyper will be responsible for the development and commercialization of future large-scale AI data center projects, including preliminary work such as site selection, power infrastructure, and customer business collaborations. Subsequently, external funds such as equity investment from Financial Investors (FI) and Project Financing (PF) will also be introduced.

According to Finance Feeds, Grayscale is in talks with Hyper Holdings Global LP to sell its proposed Hyperliquid ETF shares in exchange for approximately 2 million HYPE tokens—valued at roughly $115 million at current prices—as seed capital ahead of the fund’s listing. Meanwhile, Grayscale has renamed the product the “Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF,” planning to list it on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol HYPG. The addition of staking functionality distinguishes it from spot ETFs that merely track token price performance.

Greyth is set to introduce approximately $115 million in seed investment for Hyperliquid’s staking ETF.

According to The Block, Grayscale stated in its updated filing that it is negotiating with Hyper Holdings Global LP to acquire 2 million HYPE tokens in exchange for selling fund shares, as seed investment for its proposed Hyperliquid staking ETF. Valued at Thursday’s price, this portion of HYPE is worth approximately $115 million.

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart posted on platform X, stating that Grayscale has submitted the fourth amendment to the Hyperliquid ETF, moving closer to its official launch, though fee information has not yet been disclosed. The latest revision shows that Hyper Holdings Global LP plans to provide approximately 2 million HYPE tokens as seed capital investment, valued at around $113 million at current prices.

According to official news, Hyperliquid has established the Hyperliquid Policy Center (HPC) in the United States. Funded by the Hyper Foundation, this institution aims to advocate for legal clarity and protection for US users and developers. HPC will primarily focus on the on-chain perpetual contracts sector, advocating for the development of a regulatory framework that reflects the advantages of decentralized markets. It seeks to address the current issue within the US legal framework, where reliance on centralized intermediaries prevents retail investors from legally participating in decentralized derivatives trading. HPC is committed to establishing legal domestic participation pathways for a full range of financial instruments, including on-chain perpetual contracts, spot digital assets, prediction markets, and tokenized securities.
