The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and CapitalG, the venture capital arm of Alphabet.Founded in 2024, Celero develops coherent digital signal processors (DSPs) for optical data transmission in AI systems, improving high-speed data transfer efficiency between data centers and across server racks within a single data center, thereby enabling the construction of larger-scale AI chip clusters. According to Fortune, live streaming e-commerce platform Whatnot completed a $545 million Series G funding round, with its valuation nearly doubling from $11.5 billion in October 2025 to $20 billion. The round was led by ICONIQ, Lightspeed, and Avra, with new investors including Kleiner Perkins, Wellington Management, and others, while existing shareholders such as Andreessen Horowitz, DST Global, and CapitalG continued to participate. Since its founding in 2019, Whatnot has raised approximately $1.5 billion in total funding, expanding its business from collectibles to hundreds of categories including designer bags and fresh food, covering multiple national markets, and surpassing 1 billion in order volume.
OpenRouter, an AI model aggregation platform founded by Alex Atallah, co-founder of OpenSea, has announced a $113 million Series B funding round led by CapitalG. OpenRouter stated that its weekly transaction volume has grown from 5 trillion tokens to 25 trillion tokens over the past six months. The company noted that as AI rapidly transitions from experimental stages to production environments, its platform’s business scale continues to expand.
